Velvet Revolver frontman Scott Weiland has made good his promise/threat of re-forming his old band Stone Temple Pilots for a live performace (or two) in the coming months.

Weiland presumably plans to be out of rehab at this point. That would definitely be an advantageous move.
Further to yesterday's Clog story, although Velvet Revolver's Australian tour has been cancelled the latest news is that the band's UK tour (and their appearance at Dubai's Desert Rock Festival) will go ahead.
