Hello fellow Guns N' Roses fans!
2010 is certainly shaping up to be an exciting year. The Canadian dates are approaching fast (5 Days!), GN'R is heading to South America in March, and there are rumors of European dates for the Summer.
There's been a lot of talk about getting a live stream going of one of the shows.
Considering that we are the greatest fan community in the world, I thought we might try and take matters into our own hands.

Welcome to USTREAM. A free service which connects to your phone through a free application and enables you to stream live to the web via an embeddable (like YouTube, see below) video.
Now that anyone with an iPhone can stream, we could theoretically stream every show on the tour.

The "Mikey" (by Blue Microphones)
promises to be a powerful professional recording solution for iPhone owners when it arrives in the spring. Mikey still features two Blue mic capsules for pro-quality stereo recording, but now has improved acoustic circuitry for better recordings of loud events such as concerts.$99!
This is potentially exciting news, and if anyone wants to shoot me an email, you can find my address at the top right of this page or just tweet me @MackArillo

After signing up for a Ustream account, users can hit the "go live" button and start streaming video from the iPhone's camera to their Ustream website profiles. The app is available as a free download and even runs on older iPhones that don't have built-in video recording features.Happy 2010 and Beyond ...
Here's some homework for you Thursday night: Search Ustream for Metallica or Morrissey. Even if you didn't get tickets, you won't have to miss a beat.
