I just found an old interview with Izzy Stradlin on a music blog called tuneCORNER.
In the 30 minute interview, Izzy talks about the making of the GN'R (and his solo) albums, their rise to fame, leaving the band and what happened next. He also discusses The Ramones, the Internet, growing up in Indiana and motorbikes.

In 1991 the structure of guns n' roses left. People ache for slash; i'd rather have izzy instead. Also, i think it's a more plausible..dream.
