We have been fooled with so many release dates. What makes this one any different? There are signs thhat suggest we are closer to a release date but I'm not sure we're THIS close.

I'll believe it when it's on store shelves.

Well of course I understand your skepticism. I'm skeptical as well. BUT you must admit we;ve never ever been this close to a release. Hurrah!

i think this is it...not skeptical anymore.
however, i'm skeptical about what an album due for 15 years can bring...i've heard most of the songs, and i think it's a good album. But the problem with expectations...i just want this album out so they can deliver another one within a 2/3 years time. And so then that next album can be done without the weight and the casualties that Chinese Democracy had to deal with.

(after reading the stephen davies book it came quite clear ro me why this album took so long...)

There is a rumor out there that a deal between Best Buy AND GN'R has been done.

However Universal / Geffen / Interscope has to sign off on it.

Azoff and Gould are trying to get it done today so that they can make an announcement tonight or Monday.
