Rock on the Range 2009

Duff McKagan's Loaded has been added to Columbus, Ohio's Rock on the Range Festival.

Motley Crue, Clutch, Slipknot, Alice in Chains, Avenged Sevenfold, Buckcherry and Korn are also on the bill.

The Festival takes place on May 16 and 17 at Columbus' Crew Stadium.

Rock on the Range is becoming one of the most prestigious American Music Festivals.

You may remember, last year, the re-united Stone Temple Pilots chose to make their debut at Rock on the Range 2008.

If you can't wait until May 16 to breathe the same air as Duff McKagan, you can head on over the this year's Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy Camp, which will be held from April 29 to May 3 in Hollywood.

Participants will record at Capitol Studios and play live at the Whiskey A Go Go.

This year's camp counselors include Duff McKagan, Steven Tyler, Todd Rundgren and Bruce Kulick.

By the way, other celebs who are amateur musicians are also signing up for this thing now, too.

In other news, the Hard Rock Cafe planned for downtown Seattle will open in July.

The cafe will feature the chain's signature rock 'n' roll memorabilia, including items from Seattle musicians such as Jimi Hendrix, Pearl Jam, Chris Cornell, Alice in Chains, Heart, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, and Duff McKagan.
