Axl Speaks

Reclusive Guns N' Roses singer Axl Rose broke his silence last night (Thursday, December 11) by answering fan questions on the message boards of two of the most popular Guns N' Roses fan sites on the Web — MyGNR.com and Here Today… Gone To Hell!

Blabbermouth has an excellent transcript.

In my opinion this was an incredibly cool way for Axl to break his silence - directly to the fans.

The fans on the message boards are so familiar with the entire GN'R / Chinese Democracy saga, that they would ask the best questions.

Way to go, Ax. Thank you.

(it shouldn't even matter, but: why the hell were they bashing Fernando?)

I think it was a good way for axl to set some of the record straight, but still there are tons of tough questions to be made...that fans simply don't have the guts to make. I'm betting my money that once legal problems are solved, first interview will be done to Rolling Stone. Then maybe Kurt Loder from MTV. No VH1, though.

When he talks about the original band, i still can only read one name on it: steven adler. Don't you agree?

LOVE IT WHEN YOU SPEAK UP, AXL! Thank you!
